'Booking' process in Travelwise is understood as adding the below [[userdocs:travelwise:getting_started:glossary?&#service|service(s)]] in Order as [[userdocs:travelwise:getting_started:glossary?&#segment|segment(s)]]:
  * Flight;
  * Hotel;
  * Misc;
  * Transfer;
  * Sightseeing.
[[userdocs:travelwise:booking:japan_rail_pass:booking|'JRP' issue]] is also treated as a booking.
===== Booking Prerequisites In Travelwise Database =====
  - [[userdocs:travelwise:data_loading:customer|Customer]];
  - [[userdocs:travelwise:data_loading:general_data|General data]] (geographical, services libraries and other essential information; minimum required data is loaded by default while running the program);
  - [[userdocs:travelwise:data_loading:products|Product]] to be sold (invoiced);
  - [[userdocs:travelwise:getting_started:glossary?&#service|Service]] profile (to get the detailed service information in the documents issued for a customer and supplier);
  - Company Settings, such as default currency, markup, relations between services and products;
  - Fares loaded on a [[userdocs:travelwise:data_loading:contract|contract]] level or manualy directly in a segment;
  - [[userdocs:travelwise:data_loading:exchange_rate|Exchange rate]] for a period of booking.
