Cancellation Conditions

As the bookings have a risk of being cancelled by the customer, an indication is needed - if it can be done “free of charge” or if a certain cancellation fee will apply.
The cancellation rules are valid and displayed per each segment. Cancellation fee displayed in the program depends on several factors, such as specific supplier, cancellation format and the booking type.
In TW internal (conditions specified by the supplier – showing cancellation fee(s) for the travel agency.
and external (conditions sent to the customer – showing which cancellation fee(s) the travel agency should charge its customer.

Cancellation fees calculation is made based on supplier conditions got from xml file (shown in percent, nights or cancellation fee amount) or from the database.

Important!
There are 'non-refundable' hotels which charge the full booking cost in case of cancellation.
They are not excluded from Travelwise search, because its rates are often the best.
A warning appears before the booking is finalized to ensure that user is informed and agrees to proceed.

Cancellation period for non-refundable rooms starts in the day of booking.

It is mentioned in both internal and external cancellation conditions.

'General cancellation conditions' from Supplier profile are taken for the services booked offline.

All external cancellation conditions can be changed manually in the 'Cancel. Conditions' Order tab for the active segments (with any status except UC, XX, OZ).
