Navigation: Order → PNR Linked
Function is made to link a PNR (existing in GDS, but not ticketed yet) to Travelwise Order in advance and get that PNR transferred in this Order after being ticketed.
Booking Workflow:
Customer asks Travel Agency for a trip.
Travel Agency makes a flight reservation in GDS without tickets.
Travel Agency books all the services requested by customer in the ranks of this trip in Travelwise Order.
Closer to the journey, flight tickets become issued. And Travel Agency needs to attach the
PNR to the same Order, where the services for this customer have been booked, as Agency has to
to issue complete Itinerary for the whole trip.
Travel Agent attaches the
PNR in Travelwise and it becomes transferred in the proper Order automatically, as '
PNR Linked' works as a 'bookmark'.
To use 'PNR Linked' function:
Insert
PNR number(s) in the '
PNR Linked' grid (one
PNR per a line) in the Order, where the whole reservation is made for the customer.
Attach transferred
PNR in Travelwise (any way: by a 'Quick Search' in the bottom of Travelwise, on Order creation or in any existing Order).
Get
PNR attached automatically to the Order, to which it has been linked once.
Note
Linked PNR is also used as a search parameter in a 'Quick Search' and 'Order Search' when PNR number is linked to the Order, but PNR is not issued in GDS. This is mainly relevant for T2T Orders (Billetkontoret A/S), because this is only way of finding Order before PNR is issued if confirmation mail is missing.
