Customer Identification
To enable: Tools → Company Settings → 'Settings' tab → 'Customer Settings' item → check 'CustomerIdentification' control
Customer Identification pops-up automatically when the passengers with common names have already bought trips and their profiles exist in Travelwise and can be picked for a new Order.
This saves much time and prevents from 'double' customer creation.
If this function is disabled and customer is uncertain from a PNR text, 'Search Customers' form becomes opened to define a customer for the newly created Order.
Conditions for 'Customer Identification'
- Missing customer information in a PNR.
- Customer with such ID does not exist in the program (see 'Customer ID' field at customer profile).
- Customer with the same name (as the passenger's from a PNR) already exists in the program.
