Passenger name and Passenger type

Passenger name and Passenger type are taken from one and the same line for Amadeus and WorldSpan; but from different lines for Sabre.

Rules of passenger type defining:

1. IF name contains (IN then it is an INFANT EXEPTION ! - If it is a name like 01CHAMBAMORALES/DIANA M MRS(INFGODOY/VICTORIAC/10OCT08);;) then the passenger CHAMBAMORALES/DIANA M MRS is ADT, not infant
2. IF name contains (C it is a CHILD NOTE ! - IF there is (IDUM word THEN Tair checks if there is any age after the word and treats the passenger as a CHILD if it is
3. In all other cases passenger is an ADULT

Passenger type is written after the third “\”:

• IF type starts with C or U then it is a CHILD
• with I then it is an INFANT
• ELSE it is an ADULT.

BUT not all of them are transferred to TW. Names from M1 lines are transferred only when:

1. There is M2 line in the airfile with the same passenger number:

Passenger type is defining with data from M2 line:
CNN is treated as a CHILD
INF – as an INFANT
all other (ADT, STU, etc.) as an ADULT

2. M5 lines are checked also and passengers’ names from them are transferred in case there is no any M2 lines in airfile OR some additional names are listed in M5 lines.

NOTE: Passenger type for such names is transferred as ADT always (do not sure it is correct)!

(CTVXBY.0 – there is no any M2 line in the airfile so passenger names are transferred as soon as they are listed in M5 lines)
